The first steps in an inquiry learning process often emerge from observations of the world around us.

The See, Think, Wonder thinking routine encourages students to make careful observations and thoughtful interpretations. It helps stimulate curiosity and sets the stage for inquiry.

Creativity at Westbrook

These are some samples of creations by various Learning Groups students. There is a wide variety of project types. Students constructed models of famous buildings, constructed arcade games, created "dream boxes" and built robots and cars.

These projects offered opportunities to develop the following skills:

- Creativity & Innovation
- Collaboration
- Communication
- Managing Information
- Problem-Solving
- Critical thinking
